25th Anniversary Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Concert
The genre of Rock and Roll celebrated its 25th Hall of Fame’s anniversary at the Madison Square Garden in NYC. Greats like Simon & Garfunkel, Crosby, Stevie Wonder, Paul Simon solo and Stills and Nash are enough alone to lift the entire arena but they were not even 1% of the aptitude present in the hall. Each one of these musicians brought along a jamming partner which suddenly gave birth to another auspicious event in the room. By 1.30 in the morning all the composers had achieved their goal; to rejoice the past spirit of Rock and Roll that still lives to the fullest in the Present times.
Each time the guests thought that they had no voice left to rejoice the moment a new singer hopped on to the stage and injected a new spirit among them. Paul Simon addressed the heart touching “Here Comes the Sun” to George Harrison. Graham Nash and David Crosby gave the symphonic cover making it more pleasant. John Fogerty tagged along with Bruce Springsteen to sing “Fortunate Son”.
Cappella doo wop was performed by the enthusiastic Little Anthony and the Imperials. Their voices still had the lively touch as it used to have, not even the slightest change could be detected by the crowd. Stevie Wonder gave the crowd a feast for the night by covering MJ’s “The Way You Make Me Feel.”
The Second Hall of Fame of concert will bring Aretha Franklin, Metallica, U2 and other various artists to Madison Square Garden’s stage. Both concerts will be broadcasted by HBO on 29th of November. Fans that are attracted by the genre would get the experience of a lifetime by watching both the shows.
