Aaron Johnson

It is a great honor and moment in any actor or actress’ life when you have just worked on the portrayal a famous individual’s life and are in turn commended for your show by someone very close to that particular person. For example, Morgan Freeman would feel elevated and on top of this world if he were to receive a call or something from Nelson Mandela’s spouse appreciating him for his acting in Invictus.

Such emotions were most recently witnessed by the youthful Aaron Johnson for his performance in the movie titled Nowhere Boy. As part of his character, Aaron Johnson gets the privilege of filling in the shoes of the legendary John Lennon while the Beatles members was in his youth and still trying to find his way around life.

The movie that is still a favorite in the theaters these days has drawn praise from various individuals. But the one individual that would have mattered the most to Aaron Johnson is the deceased Lennon’s spouse; Yoko

Ono. Getting to virtually relive the moments her late husband spent on the face of this Earth, Yoko Ono was literally moved by the hearty and soulful acting put in by Aaron Johnson. It meant so much to her that she put pen to paper and sent an epistle to Aaron Johnson.

To further show her gratitude, Yoko Ono gave permission to Sam Taylor Wood, Nowhere Boy’s director, to employ one of John Lennon’s most famous and beloved composition – Mother – as part of the sound track for the end credits.
