Aisha Tyler and Husband

Aisha Tyler hooked up with an attorney, Jeff Tietjens and later on married. The couple moved to Oakland where they were expecting to face some stereotypes as cat calling being a mixed couple. Aisha and Tietjens moved to San Francisco to get reasonable freedom and space from the mocking. Later on the couple relocated themselves to L.A. where Aisha started to work in comedy clubs and she became popular with the passage of time.

Aisha Tyler is an American standup comedian, actress and a writer. She gained familiarity for a regular role on Ghost Whisperer’s first season and various recurring roles in CSI: Crime Scene Investigation and Friends.

Aisha is a graduate from the San Francisco’s “J. Eugene McAteer School of the Arts” and then attended Dartmouth College for finishing formal education.

Aisha Tyler started her career in 1996 as a comedian. She started with television in 2001 as a host on “Talk Soup” and then on “The Fifth Wheel” a reality dating series. Talk Soup was cancelled next year. In 2002 she left “The Fifth Wheel” to continue with some other projects. Afterwards she worked mostly for independent projects like her role in “Moose Mating” which led her to receive NAACP Image Award. Tyler starred, wrote and directed “The Whipper” a short film.

As far as acting is concerned, Tyler appeared in various features regularly. She appeared regularly in the first season of “Ghost Whisperer” a CBS series and also in season 2’s first episode. Tyler also appeared in “Without a Trace” another drama on CBS. Tyler has also appeared in numerous movies.

Aisha Tyler is a regular contributor to Jane and Glamour magazines and she has written books as well.
