Bastard Out of Carolina

Bastard out of Carolina is the name of a movie of the year 1996. Bastard out of Carolina was made by Showtime Networks. Anjelica Huston was its director. Bastard out of Carolina has its basis on Dorothy Allison’s novel. The story of the movie – Bastard out of Carolina revolved around a poor girl, who is actually ill-treated and sexually battered. The movie was produced during the year 1996 and during the year 1997 Maritime Film Classification Board of Canada barred the movie. Both the cinema and video release of the movie was barred. However, some times later the video release was allowed when an appeal was moved for the purpose. The movie Bastard out of Carolina attracted the viewers and was liked very much.

It was a good movie and it also earned a number of awards. When we look into the plot of the movie, we see that a young girl in the name Bone is shown. Bone took birth to a tender aged mother of 15 years. She used to

live with her mother in a distressed condition. The mother of Bone – Anney was a tender aged mother who had great care and love for her daughter. She herself needed some care being too young to be a mother. Both Anney and Bone had the problem of unlawful trample in the official document of birth of Bone. However, fortunately the record of the court was burnt in a fire and Anney succeeded in getting official document of birth of Bone without the stamp of illegitimate. When the husband of Anney died in a road accident, she married to Glen. Glen took care of her till the time that his child died during the delivery process.
