Belgian Malinois

On the twenty eighth day of July in the annum ’10, the trial once again began for ex police officer of Panama Beach City Police. He was arrested in the annum ’07 for killing a Belgian Malinois.

Belgian Malinois, with a weight of seventy pounds was a very efficient and intelligent police dog. Due to his strong sense of smell, he was used by the police to identify criminals, corpse and investigation of various accidents and crime cases. It is never easy to train a dog for such purposes. Duke, as the dog was named was very arrogant and the trainers usually had a hard time controlling him and making him obey the instructions generated, like all other police dogs.

Duke-Belgian Malinois was one day misbehaving during an exercise and the trainer at that day was Allen Cockfield. He tolerated at first but when Duke crossed the limit, he took him up by the collar and shunned

brutally. Later, during another exercise, when Cockfield saw that he was not obeying him as much as others, he gave him a few kicks, held him up with his hind limbs and tied them up with a rope. Duke made a few moans and tried to escape but suffered a seizure so bad that his breath stopped forever. Cockfield’s stance is that he didn’t hit him on purpose-whatever he did was in self defense and that he should be set free from trials. But he met another blame which said that Duke was the fourth dog Cockfield has killed and he is fond of killing dogs. Let us see what the new verdict comes out to be.
