Bowman Gray Stadium

Bowman Gray Stadium (BGS) which was built around 1935, with multi purpose games and activities comprises about 1/4 mile elliptical surface, is situated in Winston Salem, North California. Since the opening of this huge and wonderful stadium, large number of crowd has been gathering here to take pleasure in roaring sound of engines and enthusiastic fans cheering the racing team drivers.

Alvin Hawkins and Bill France-the founding fathers of NASCAR- started racing and giving a new shape in the car racing history, which began from Bowman Gray Stadium.
