Broken Lizard’s Club Dread

Club Dread is known as “Broken Lizard’s Club Dread”. It is a horror/comedy film of 2004. The film was directed by Mr. Jay Chandrasekhar who was also amongst the group of writers, whereas it was written by Broken Lizard, a comedy group and is edited by Ryan Folsey and the music has been given by Nathan Barr. Super Troopers was created by Broken Lizard too. The film was produce by Richard Perello. The filming of Club Dread has taken place in Mexico; however the story was set on the island in “Costa Rica”. Some opening shots were lifted from The Beach, a film by Danny Boyle. The movie was distributed by Fox Searchlight and it was released on February 27, 2004 in English Language. Its running time is 103 and with extended cut, 118 minutes.

The plot of Club Dread is almost familiar to that one that stalks from “And Then There Were None by Agatha Christie” a novel. In Club Dread, the Bill Paxton (Coconut Pete) was appeared as a has been “rock star”. Coconut Pete arranged a nonstop party at his island. Here the dead bodies start tuning up, whereas the staff tries solving the murders mystery by keeping it secret from all the quests. The other main objective of the staff is to avoid themselves becoming as next victim, because they may have the killer amongst them. The staff becomes victim one by one. Now the main object of the staff is to find that, who is the “killer” on the island in one or another way.
