Caressa Cameron Miss America

It was in the year 1921 that the Miss America beauty pageant came into existence. Originally it was just a stunt to convince the tourists that had come to Boardwalk in Atlantic City to stay a little longer after the Labor Day. For this year’s Miss America, there were fifty three contestants that were chosen from states of the USA. It is a tradition that winner from the previous year crowns the new beauty queen. This year’s Miss America was crowned by Katie Stam and also was given a scholarship of fifty thousand dollars. This year Caressa Cameron Miss America was the lucky one that received the crown from Katie Stam.

Caressa Cameron miss America is from Virginia. The pageant was on air from TLC which is a cable network and the show was hosted by Mario Lopez. The judges of the beauty pageant included; Vivica Fox, Rush Limbaugh, Shawn Johnson, Katie Harman and Dave Koz. Caressa Cameron miss America is twenty two years old and has claimed that she wants to be a news host on television. Nicole Blaszczyk, Caressa Cameron and Christy Cavinder, these were the participants that received two thousand dollars each after winning the talent competition.

Caressa Cameron became Caressa Cameron miss America in Las Vegas in Nevada. The winner was announced after scores from competitions that preliminary were combined with the interview, talent, swimsuit and evening gown competition. Caressa Cameron miss America was wearing a yellow gown with silver embroidery on the top, her hair was swept on the side and she wore it loose. She wore big chandelier type earrings that complimented the floor length dress very well. Before entering the beauty pageant Caressa was a student of broadcast journalism, studying at Virginia Commonwealth University.
