Chemical Ali Hanged

The First cousin of ex- president of Iraq –Saddam Hussein, Ali Hassan Abd Al-Majid al-Tukriti, called Chemical Ali has been sentenced to death today 25th January, 2010. Chemical Ali’s death sentence has ultimately been executed after many holdups. Chemical Ali was involved in warfare offenses against the Kurds and Shiites. He was given demise decree for four times. Due to certain technical reasons, his death sentence was not being executed and had been postponed several times.

Chimcial Ali’s first ever death punishment was announced in 2009 for his involvement in the murder of Shiitis. For the second time, he was punished death sentence in the year 2007 on account of his involvement in the killing of about 182000 people in Anfal crusade. The third one was announced during the year 2008 for his part in bringing to a halt Shiite’s movement, which caused the murder of about 100000 people. The fourth punishment was announced on 17th January, 2010 for his involvement in poisonous gas assault which caused the deaths of 5000 Kurds.

The incident of Chemical Ali hanged has erupted explosions in the city of Baghdad. Suicide bombings have been reported in the centre of city of Baghdad. It is, however, not yet confirmed that these explosions are a result of Chimical Ali hanged or otherwise.

Chemical Ali hanged has again reminded the people of Saddam Hussain, ex President of Iraq. The people have started discussing the period of Saddam Hussain in Iraq, when he had all the powers and nothing could happen in Iraq against his will. During that period, Chemical Ali was the front man of Saddam Hussain. Chemical Ali had the authority of acting on behalf of the president – Saddam Hussain and he was involved in about all the activities carried out by Saddam Hussain.
