Chris Daughtry

Chris Daughtry, yup, the American Idol contestant who made it to the top four and was eliminated on the tenth day of May in the annum ’06; made a hark back to the same stage in the Idol episode which was aired on the twelfth day of May in the annum ’10.

The audience literally went crazy when they saw their biggest surprise of American Idol season 9, Chris Daughtry on the stage performing September and a melodious song from his album Leave This Town, which was released a year ago. Chris Daughtry is one of the lucky contestants of American Idol who made into the field of music even without the title of Idol. A month after he got eliminated, he signed with RCA Records of Sony Entertainment Company and released his debut music album in November ’09. formed a rock band under the name ‘Daughtry’ in ’06. He is the lead vocalist of the band. The band has released two music albums called ‘No Surprise’ and ‘Leave This Town’, both of which were the super hits and made it to the Billboard Top 200. Chris’s popular song ‘It’s Not Over’ was nominated for the category of Best Rock Song at the 5oth Grammy Awards.

It was at the age of sixteen that Chris discovered his love for music. He started taking guitar lessons from Matt Jagger. He took inspiration from Andy Waldeck. In high school he formed a rock band called Cadence where he was the lead vocalist.
