David Brown WCVB

David Brown is working as an anchor person for the Channel 5 of WCVB-TV and normally reports the weather news. He is also working as a reporter for WCVB’s Environmental section and he is also a lead contributor on “TheBostonChannel.com” for their section of “Going Green”.

David Brown had joined the WCVB in the year 1995. During his tenure there, he has also worked for their news program “Eye Opener” as a co host and also served as the meteorologist in their noon and morning shows.

From 1993 Brown was working as a meteorologist on the weekend shows at WISN TV Milwaukee which is a sister concern of the WCVB TV, before giving his joining to the Channel 5. These both channels are the part of a very famous group “Hearst Television Group” and are also have affiliation with ABC affiliates.

Before this David Brown was working with the KTXL TV as the chief meteorologist in Sacramento for around 5 years. Prior to joining this channel he was serving a channel in Chico California as a chief meteorologist. He had started his career as weather news reporter and caster as a weekend anchor in Terre Haute.

David Brown got a reward from the “American Meteorological Society Seal of Approval” after completion of his post graduate degree. This award was given to him for his best performance in forecasting of weather reporting.

Being a active community member, David Brown spend most of his free time in charity activities of the local community and fully supports such events. He is very much involved with the society of “AIDS Action” and host their annual walk for “AIDS”.
