Devils Head Accident

Sauk County is surely to have its hands full at the moment. The Sheriff authorities for the city said that The Department of Commerce had started the investigation for a faulty chair lift at a vacation enjoyment place. On Thursday night at around 7 the chairlift stopped and started functioning in the opposite direction throwing some people off their seats.

The injured were instantly moved to Sauk Prairie Memorial Hospital in Sauk City and St. Clare Hospital in Baraboo. The total number of passengers that underwent treatment was 14. Hospital staffs have stated that the victims were in a very minor hurt condition when they arrived except for two riders who were kept overnight. One of the two had broken his ankle.

The resort’s GM Joe Vittengl said that an interrogation was to be carried out starting from the crack of light on Friday. He also added that with the sunlight it would be easier for workers to identify the malfunction. The number of riders seated was unknown to the workers when the lift started going backwards.

A. Shadlu, a man residing in Madison was included in the list of jumpers. Shadlu said that they were able to get out without any problem but he was still uncertain about the fellow board people. Jason Lucht, a man living in Lyndon stated that he came off the ride when it was about 25 ft above the ground.

T. Versace of Madison narrated the incident saying that the fire brigades and police officers were present everywhere, guardians had also arrived on the scene to take their little ones. Many of the parents were seen shouting at the authorities at the amusement park inquiring about their misplaced sons and daughters.
