In Joilet, Empress Casino Fire was appeared with black smoke. Lt. Stephen Breen (Police) says that no injuries were reported. Empress Casino Fire was started in kitchen area and has not spread.
In the report of Police, explanation about fire was the fire was begun at 10AM Friday, March 20, 2009. The cause of Empress Casino Fire was welder’s spark and hit some grease. Definite cause hasn’t been confirmed yet. As precaution nearby parking garage were cleared.
