Eno River Festival

Charlie was wearing a mask of his favorite hero Spider man and anxiously searching for the goldfishes in the River of Eno. There were around other 20 children except Charlie and were trying to catch a fish in the Eno River who were there to enjoy the 30th annual Eno River Festival. On this weekend, the west point of the Eno Park has been taken over by around two hundred craftspeople and performers.

This festival has been sponsored by the Eno River Association and aim to organize this event is to raise money to acquire land around the Eno River and to develop the awareness among people to protect the natural environment. During festival around 90 percent of trash was collected and sent for recycling or was turned into dung.

This Eno River Festival was started first time in 1980 and the aim to raise the money for association’s hard work and efforts to protect natural environment. There was an expectation of more than twenty thousand gathering of people by the organizers this weekend. The weather was pleasantly good throughout the festival and those people went to home early that want to celebrate the Independence Day.

Scott the father of Charlie decided to enjoy the festival on the beach. He literally had no idea how to protect the natural environment before arriving at this Eno River Festival. Morley, age 51 said to media that I would like to sit under the shade and would love to listen the music.
