Bethany Storro has undergone surgery at Oregon hospital where doctor removed most of the damaged skin from her face. An unknown African-American woman had thrown a strong acid on her face on Monday. The attacker was a stranger to Storro and the authorities could not determine the motive of the attack.

Bethany Storro is 28 and she was going to Starbucks (Vancouver) on Monday when a woman asked her to drink from a cup. Storro refused to take the drink and the woman splashed the content on her face. Luckily Storro was wearing sunglasses that saved her eyes. Doctors have removed the damaged skins and it will take months to reconstruct her face.

Storro’s hearing ability was impaired because of spinal-meningitis and she is thankful to God for saving her eyesight. Her parents were by her side and want their daughter to recover from the burns physically and emotionally.

The authorities are searching for the woman who was involved in the acid-attack. She was reportedly wearing a khaki pant under a green top.

The democrats are in difficult position because of the low pace of economic recovery and high unemployment rates. The ratings for Barbara boxer are around 40 percent.

The opponents had contrasting views on abortion. Boxer favors the abortions while Fiorina wants it to be declared illegal. Fiorina thinks that same sex couples should not be granted equal rights to the conventional couples but Boxer has a liberal view of the gay marriages.

The divorce of Tiger woods has not only broken his family but has forced him to mortgage his dream house. Tiger woods is building a mega mansion in Jupiter island Florida on an area of 12 acres. The luxurious mansion will have fitness center, several pools, oxygen-therapy room and a tennis court. The mansion will cover 10,000 square feet of area. The construction work is expected to be completed by next year. Woods is one of the richest sportsmen in the world whose assets are estimated to be around three-hundred million dollars.
