The University of Southern California just lost a tremendous Head Coach in the form of Pete Carroll’s untimely resignation move. Obviously they are not just going to sit back and let their training camp go on without the proper supervision of a seasoned coaching expert. Thus the hunt for a new University of Southern California coach continues. But to get stuck on the fact that Jack Del Rio is going to get that particular assignment for sure is a little too much of a premature conclusion to reach.

And Jack Del Rio does not agree with that either. Even though he has not been in complete denial of the proposition, Jack Del Rio managed to do very well when it came to being specific and dodging the bombardment of questions.

The report of Jack Del Rio going for a new coaching assignment first merged in the Los Angeles based Daily News paper. When approached about the subject, Jack Del Rio stated that his priority remained with the Jaguars for the ongoing year and that the entire buzz going around was just make belief stuff.

He was calendared to meet up with Wayne Weaver – owner of the Jaguars – and the two men would be discussing where Jack Del Rio stood with the team in the future. As of now, there are thirty six months remaining on the contract between the Jags and Del Rio. The balance income stands at fifteen million US dollars as of now.

Though he hasn’t been all that great, Jack Del Rio still is a competent football professional.
