Jimmy Clausen Black Eye

Seems like Jimmy Clausen would have had to swallow a lot of pride if he had opted to register a complaint with law enforcement officials after what is rumored to have been a nasty bar fight that occurred as a result of Notre Dame’s defeat to Connecticut.

Jimmy Clausen not only captained the Notre Dame team but also played the vital role of quarter back for them. According to word that has been floating around, Jimmy Clausen was out and about with his family and friends by the South Bend Indiana Bar. It seems that he might have been approached by an individual who obviously irritated the Irish quarter back with his remarks regarding the double over-time loss to the opposition from Connecticut. Another variation states that the third person tried to get physical with Jimmy’s girl-friend that sparked the brawl. As has been reported, Jimmy Clausen jostled this person back before facing retaliation in the form of a fist to the eye.

Lately Jimmy Clausen has been spotted during training sessions covering his face with a black visor – in what seems to be an attempt to cover the black eye.

The 22 year old Jimmy Clausen graduated from Oaks Christian High School in Westlake Village (California) before enrolling at the University of Notre Dame. In ‘06, before joining Notre Dame, he was honored with the Hall Trophy for his athletic prowess as a football player. He has been highly instrumental for Notre Dame, even going on win the Most Valuable Player (MVP) award.
