Behind every successful man, there is a woman. And that has surely been true for Regis Philbin. The Guinness World record holder for the most time spent in front of live cameras, Joy Philbin owes his steady, successful and prominent rise to fame & glory to his wife of almost 4 decades – Joy Philbin.

Born on the 1st day of February in the year 1941, Joy Philbin has been married to her husband Regis since 1970 (39 years). Over the years she has made multiple TV appearances with her spouse on his show “Live with Regis and Kelly (formerly known as “Live with Regis and Kathie Lee” till the year 2000). In addition to co-hosting with her husband and his colleagues – Kelly Ripa & Kathie Lee – Joy Philbin has also performed hosting services for the “Haven” and “At Home With…” shows for HGTV network.

In their wedlock union, Regis and Joy Philbin have borne and successfully raised two daughters – Jennifer

(also known as JJ) and Joanna. Mr. and Mrs. Philbin became grandparents in Feb ’08 when their daughter Jennifer and her spouse Michael welcomed their first born. The baby boy was christened after his grandfather Regis’ confirmation forename – William Xavier Schur.

Regis Philbin has been in the TV industry for almost 5 decades now. He has successfully hosted multiple TV shows such as “Who Wants to be a Millionaire”, “America’s Got Talent” and the “Million Dollar Password”. The Philbins’ flourishing union has been applauded by the masses and both husband and wife have recorded their first CD together.
