Katt Williams Arrested

Katt Williams arrested on early Monday morning for burglary in Georgia. He is a stand-up comedian. He told the police during initial investigation that I had no intentions to burglarize the house but actually he wanted to get into the house using a crowbar. According to the police charges, Katt Williams arrested for burglary yesterday morning in Georgia.

Williams stated that the incident is totally a misunderstanding and he is very much hopeful that the matter would be dropped, said by the attorney of Katt Williams. His lawyer was giving an interview to CNN in which he said that the reason to arrest Katt Williams is a dispute which was happened at producer Barry Hankerson’s home between him and a staff member.

His lawyer further said that on Monday afternoon, a statement has been given by Barry Hankerson to the investigators and according to that statement Katt Williams was given permission for an indefinite stay in that home where he has been charged of burglarizing. It we consider this statement as true then one thing is clear Katt Williams arrest can not be continued that long and he will be released from any charge of burglary soon.

Maj. James Yarbrough, spokesman of the Sheriff’s Department of Coweta County told the press that the house where supposed burglary attempt was made is in Newnan. Newnan is the area which is situated towards southwest of Atlanta at around 38 miles. Katt Williams arrest was also made in July for the possession of a gun but these charges were dropped in November 2008 in New York.
