Kris Humphries

Kris Nathan Humphries is a professional American “basketball” player. Kris is (6′.9″) power forward and is associated with National Basketball Association’s Dallas Mavericks. Kris had a successful basketball career at his school “Hopkins High School”. He led the school in 2002 to a “25-2″ record and then the 1st “state championship” in last 49 years. He earned various titles and was named as “Mr. Basketball” in Minnesota. Kris attended University of Minnesota where he earned numerous titles too.

In 2004, Kris was first drafted as a 14th pick by Jazz. His tenor with Jazz was spread over a span of two years. Kris was traded with Robert Whaley to Raptors in an exchange of Rafael Arauji in June 2006. Kris led the Raptors to the division title which was their first ever at that time in 2006 and 2007 season. Kris took seven “offensive” rebounds in about 27 minutes in March 2007 against “Miami Heat” which was both his career as well as game’s highest. He repeated this performance of March 2007 with 9 “offensive” and eighteen as total “rebounds” against Detroit Piston’s win in April 2007. It was again his career and game’s highest.

In July 2009, Kris, Nathan Jawai and Shawn Marion were traded to “Dallas Mavericks” as part of 4 team deal amongst Mavericks, Raptors, Memphis Grizzlies and Orlando Magic.

In 2002 US “Junior World Championship” Qualifying Tournament Team, Kris participated with Chris Bosh. This team came up with 4-1 record, a bronze medal and also qualified the “2003 FIBA Junior World Championship”. In five games Kris’s average was 9.0 p.p.g. and 5.0 rpg.
