Kym Johnson

Entertainer Kym Johnson and her male partner Donny Osmond were crowned the ballroom champions for the ninth-season of “Dancing with the Stars” during the results show on live finale of last night presented on ABC. A combined score of 85 had been received by both Johnson and Osmond out of 90 possible points for their three routines of Monday night.

Their overall score of 85 took them on to the second position as the score of first position holder was 87, taken by Chaplin and Mya. Third position was taken by Amstel and Osbourne with an overall score of 76. During the last night’s live finale of ninth-season, live performances were given by all of these three couples and received their scores that contributed towards their final score of combined judges but votes of home viewers were not included in it.

Votes of the home viewers had already been taken on the performances of Monday night. The scores format that was used on the finale night was same as it was used on Monday night’s “megamix” round in which Kym Johnson and Donny Osmond took their first position with an overall score of 30 points. Chaplin and Mya were given second position by getting 28 points and with an overall score of 26, Van Amstel and Osbourne took third position.

Kym Johnson was born in Australia on August 4, 1976. She is an Australian celebrity of television, model and former professional ballroom dancer. She is living in Sydney NSW, Australia but currently she in United States for her participation in the show “Dancing with the Stars” where she have been crowned ballroom champion last night.
