Lakewood Police Shooting

Yet another shootout has hit the US area. Ed Troyer, spokesman for Pierce’s Police Department said the there had been a practical joke present behind the vehicles search conducted by the officers. The bomb disposal squad has also been sent to the Evergreen Self Storage.

A resident had dialed his girlfriend and others and fallaciously took the responsibility of the shooting. He has been in custody since then on the basis of restricting the police inquiry. While the shootout was in progress one of the deceased officers was able to pull the trigger a few times while strangling with the gunman.

Troyer stated that the armed stranger shot two officers before he entered Forza Coffee at 8:15 a.m. Another officer seated inside stood up in an attempt to refrain the shooter but he himself became the hunted. The fourth policeman managed to wrestle the gunmen but was injured in doing so.

A chopper owned by the KING TV channel had been hanging above the crime area has been throwing stones in the way of the police. The helicopter had been asked several times to back off so the police could do its work but they paid no heed. Pursuing charges may be filed against the agency.

The executive news director for KING, Mark Ginther said that the aircraft had done what it was told to, and they had followed the FAA set of laws for presence above the sight. The presence of the bomb disposal squad at the crime area is still blurry as to what they are looking for. The parking lot has also been detected thoroughly by the PD.

A main chunk of the 112th St. near the coffee shop has been sealed by authorities. The area is also being patrolled by the Law maintaining forces.
