Land of the Dead

Land of the dead is a famous American horror movie. This movie was released in the year 2005. Since its release, it was became a top rated Horror, Zombie categorical art piece. “Land of the dead” is the proud production of the Universal Studios and the Romero-Grunwald Productions.

Land of the dead is the fourth part of the same story series. This movie did business of forty million dollars and this was the highest earning amount of all constituents. The first movie of this series was Living Dead. It was released in the year 1968. “Diary of the Dead”, “Night of the Living Dead” and “Dawn of the Dead” are the famous constituent movies of this fiction series.

This series of movies was directed and written by George Andrew Romero. Romero is a well known American screen writer, director and movie editor. He is famous for his horror movies contribution in Hollywood and he is also commonly known as the zombie’s grandfather.

“Survival of the Dead” was his contribution of the last year 2009. Romero was born on 4 of February in the year 1940. He was born in the New York City of America. He has also written various books on Horror and fiction topics.

The story of the film revolves around the humans and fictional mindless dead people. It was a film about Pittsburgh, a city of Pennsylvania. It is the second largest city of the state and the river surrounds it from the three sides. Pittsburgh city was under the rule of local Feudalism and the government lost the control on the incidents of strange killings of dark timings.

The cast of the film was Simon Baker, Johnathan Alberto Leguizamo, Dennis Hopper, Robert Joy, Eugene Clark, Joanne Boland, Asia Argento and many others. John Leguizamo and Asia Argento played lead roles in this film.
