Lara Logan

Lara Logan was born in Durban, South Africa on March 29, 1971. She is a war correspondent and radio and television journalist in South Africa but currently she is working for CBS News, 60 Minutes correspondent as a Chief Foreign Affairs and her duty is to file reports for the CBS Radio Network and CBS Evening News.

Logan attended Durban Girls College for her early education and later on got admission in Durban at the University of Natal and got her graduation degree in 1992. She has described once her story of begging for an expedited visa in front of the Russian Embassy Clerk in London days after the attacks of the September 11, 2001. In November 2001 while working in Afghanistan, Lara Logan worked for the British morning program, GMTV as a correspondent.

Next four years of her reporting life were spent in Afghanistan from the field travelling often with American forces as an embedded reporter. CBS News was given her the name of chief foreign correspondent in February 2006. The husband of Lara Logan is working as a contractor of federal defense from Texas. She met her husband first time in Iraq.

Lara Logan has only one son who was born in January 2009. Her first marriage was with a professional basketball played Jason Siemon who played for the United Kingdom. Howard Kurtz of the Washington Post was being complained by the Lara Logan in which she stated that her personal life had been scandalous fodder. Report about fighting along Haifa Street was filed by Logan in late January 2007.
