LCROSS mission is a project of NASA in which they were to bombing on the Moon to check the availability of the water on the Moon and if there is water over there then how much it is? According to the reports bombing process has been scheduled by NASA yesterday. As per the LCROSS mission a rocket names Centaur Atlas 5 will crash at 5,600 miles per hour into the Cabeus Crater.

Cabeus Crater is the area which is situated on the south pole of the Moon and since hundreds of years, this area of the Moon could not see the sunlight, therefore there is much chance of the availability of the water as it has not been dried due to the power of sunlight. The explosion scheduled by the NASA has to be done today at 4:31 AM PDT or 7:31 AM ET.

There should not be any scary scene in the mind of anyone about this bombing by NASA that the Moon will split into two half or as a result of this LCROSS mission bombing, the orbit of the Moon will be changed as this bombing will be done on a specific area to search for the availability of the water on Moon and the scene will be very interesting to see because these kind of happening does not happen all the time.

Moon is being hit by the meteorites regularly and it is a truth but it is not like the mission of NASA called LCROSS mission every day is being broadcast. 30 mile high plume will be created as a result when Selene surface will be hit by the Moon rocket and then the details will be collected by the LCROSS spacecraft.
