Lee Thomas Vitiligo

Lee Thomas has vitiligo disease and he has written a new book explaining and sharing his mental and physical battle against vitiligo. Lee is one of those TV broadcasters who have won Emmy Award. Vitiligo is a skin disorder disease and this disease is literally turning Lee into a white man. Lee Thomas had a dream job in his mind when he was of the age 25.

His dream job was to become a featured reporter of entertainment news for the flagship TV station situated in New York which is the subsidiary of ABC Network. And then he suddenly discovered that he has some white spots on his chest and it was the start of this disease and now it has spread to even more than half on his face. It has become a fact now which he tries to cover with the help of makeup while being in front of camera.

Lee Thomas as a public personality and being so much in the public eyes, vitiligo disease has not only changed his color but his life as well. Lee writes in his book that even those people who know me very well for the years, do not make an eye contact with me whenever I come in front of them without makeup. Currently he is working as an entertainment reporter for the WJBK FOX 2.
