Liberty State Park Fireworks

Celebrations of 4th July’s annual fireworks will be held by Jersey City as usual, in spite of Macy who has decided after 8 years to bring hold the show its fireworks in Hudson in the East of River. Jerramiah Healy who is a spokesman of Mayor of Jersey City Jennifer Morrill said to media that city has planned to make a show of fireworks to its residents from Jersey City.

He further said in addition, the city is ready to display its feature like Statue of Liberty as a backdrop of Ellis Island. It is also a possibility that the fireworks of Macy’s can be seen in the Heights section of our Jersey City but the display of Macy will be difficult to see but Weehawken show will be run parallel to Macy’s show.

Liberty State Park will hold this celebration of Jersey City’s firework which is going to be held on 4th of July, 2009. 3 pm will be the starting time of this annual event which will be started with D.J Omar Matthews. Residents of Jersey can see the performance of vocalist Jade in the South Field of State Park at 5 pm.

At around 9:15 pm the fireworks display is planned to be started and this fireworks can be seen from all areas of the Liberty State Park. Show will be produced by the Garden State Fireworks and it will be sponsored by the Mayor Office, the Division of Cultural Affairs, the Municipal Council, Liberty State Park and Economic Development Corporation UEZ Program of Jersey City.
