Little Rascals

“The Little Rascals” is an infamous comedy film which was released in 1994. Amblin Entertainment had produced this film and it was released on August 5, 1994 by Universal Pictures. The theme of the film was an inspiration of the “Our Gang” of Hal Roach which was a series of short films released in 1920s, 1930s and 1940s. It was also broadcast on television later on as “The Little Rascals” in 1950s.

“The Little Rascals” was a group of the area children and the story of the film circles around their adventures. Screenplay of the film was done by Stephen Mazur, Paul Guay and Penelope Shpeeris. This film was also the first collaboration by Mzur & Guay, whose other comedy movies released later on were “Heartbreakers” and “Liar Liar”. “The Little Rascals” earned a big profit worldwide and the gross total was USD $67,308,282.

Travis Tedford played the role of “Spanky” in the film who was the president of “He-Man Woman Hater’s Club” and the role of his best friend and the boyfriend of Darla “Alfalfa” was played by Bug Hall. The role of the vice-president of the club “Stymie” was played by the Kevin Jamal Woods and the roles of members of the club were played by Zachary Mabry, Jordan Warkol and Ros Begley.

The role of a rich kid “Waldo” whose family just shifted to the town was played by the Blake Mclver Ewing and the role of the typographer of the club “Uh-Huh” was played by the Courtland Mead in the film “The Little Rascals”.
