LRAD Acoustic Cannon

LRAD is a warning and hailing of long range which is used to directed the acoustic device. Acoustic device has been designed to communicate with the extra ordinary high precision and authority in a beam of 15 to 30 degree. A verbal challenge can also be issued with instruction by LRAD for more than 500 meters range and it also has the ability to manipulate the behavior with a warning tone or can also decided its target.

The warning and hailing function of LRAD in the normal commercial level ships is almost the same as used by the U.S. Navy on their patrol crafts which are landed around Basra, Iraq that are used to communicate between the oil terminals and shipping lanes. This device is functioning very effectively in this area even for a distance of 1,000 meter as well.

The basic aim to create the LRAD was to support the U.S. Navy warships to determine the exclusion and protection zones around them. The challenge to stop the small boats from reaching to the commercial ships is very similar. The ranges of command warning tones of LRAD are more than 500 meters while its instructions in highly understandable voice can be heard without any doubt.

LRAD had the ability to converse with the authority in the sea and on land has been proved very useful for making a situation very safe from uncertain conditions. LRAD was used 1st time on 7th November 2005 to reproduce attack on a luxury cruise.
