Mass Election
Everyone is keeping an eye on the tussle – which really does not seem to be going back and forth at the moment – pertaining to the latest Mass Election. The Mass Election is the dash for occupying the once occupied Senate seat left vacant by the charismatic late Senator Edward Kennedy. If a Republican – which in this case would be Mr. Scott Brown – was to come out on top at the Mass Election, it would bring about a huge and immediate call for change in strategy for the current Democratic administration being spearheaded by President Barack Obama.
Let us observe the two possible (and only) outcomes that could be witnessed at the end of the Mass Election. If we suppose the example of a Republican triumph, it would put the recent health care legislation reforms in to a serious jeopardy as the Democrats are, currently, enjoying a peaceful brisk walk through the whole bill passing façade. However, if things were to turn out in favor of the Democrats – i.e. if Martha Coakley manages to come out victorious – the health care reforms would be secure to a certain extent because the possibility of Republican aggression remain never the less.
Despite waving public opinions and predictions, Martha Coakley stayed firm on the ground that Democrats would triumph at the Mass Election. Massachusetts has enjoyed Democratic support and has been a cushion ground for the Democratic Party for a real long time now. And surely the Democrats would very much like for it to remain that way in the future as well.
