Michael Blosil

Michael Blosil the adopted son of the entertainer Marie Osmond committed suicide on Friday. He was 18 and had a history of depression. Michael Blosil left a suicide note reportedly before throwing his life off a balcony that he is committing suicide after failing to cope with depression. He had been admitted to a rehabilitation center back in 2007. He was quite good at studies and had obtained 3.79 GP at high school. He was enrolled at Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising at Los Angeles. The reason behind his depression is yet not clear.

Los Angeles police Department is investigating the death of Michael Blosil. The boy was sober and calm before his death as reported by his mates.

Marie Osmond and her husband Brian Blosil had adopted Michael along with four others. The couple has divorced in 2007. Osmond has pledged privacy in the hard times as she and her family is in a state of shock over the untimely tragic death of Michael.

Marie Osmond is the sister of Osmond brothers famous for singing, acting and doll designing. She started with solo singing and later stepped into acting. She and her brother Donny co-hosted the variety show named Donny & Marie for three years. She related her postpartum depression experiences in a book Behind the Smile. Her doll business is running quite well. She was currently doing a show Donny & Marie in Las Vegas. The show for Saturday was cancelled after the tragic death of Michael Blosil.
