Missy Peregrym

Missy Peregrym is an actress from Canada. She was a fashion model formerly. Missy appeared in the Stick It, a comedy drama. She also played on the television series of NBC “Heroes” as Candice Wilmer for several times as well as her starring in Reaper, the television series of CW.

At an age of 18, Missy started with modeling and appeared in various commercials like her commercials for Sprint Canada, Mercedes-Benz and Olympics. Missy started her acting career in 2000, with her appearance in the Dark Angel, television series followed by various roles in television for the next many years. She appeared in several episodes of television series like Black Sash, The Chris Isaak Show, Smallville, Jake 2.0, Tru Calling, Heroes, Andromeda and Life as We Know It etc.

Missy started her film career in 2006 with her lead role in the ‘Stick It’. The film was about a teenager who is rebellious and disobedient. She is forced for return to her previous gymnastics life which ends up with her liking of the old life style and she continues as it is with this life. She also appeared in Le Montage, a short web only film.

Missy was also casted in the ‘Cooper’ a crime drama with its shooting started in August this year.

Missy was nominated at the Leo Awards for a Leo in 2008 for the Best Female Lead Performance in the Reaper, a dramatic series 2007, for the episode “Love Bullets and Blacktop”.

Missy was born to a minister in Montreal (Quebec, Canada) in June 1982.
