Mohler Case

Another suspect has been charged and arrested in the Mohler case which is a family child sex case of Mohler family and now the total number of suspects has reached to six. This is a case in which sexually abusing and raping (minimum two children) charges have been imposed on several members of the family, said by the local police authorities.

The name of the sixth suspect is Larry Kidd who is a 55-year-old man living in the Kansas City, Missouri. Authorities of the Missouri Highway Patrol told the media that the arrest of sixth suspect has been made with the charges of the rape of a 14-years-old child. Identification of the Larry Kidd has been made as a relative of the Mohler family and faces several allegations of child sex.

It has been also asked by the authorities to those who have been offended by the Kidd or Mohlers, to call on 816-474-TIPS (Tips Hotline) or 660-259-6785 to give any sort of information about being victimized which may be helpful in this Mohler case. First court appearance of the five suspects (male members of Mohler family) was made earlier in the day in Lafayette Country, Mo.

The members of the Mohler family that appeared in the court earlier today were included a 77-year-old man and his sons (rest four suspects were his sons). All the five suspects have been charged for raping and forcible sodomy to those children who were under the age of 12. Cynthia Schroer, the prosecutor said in the court that she was not clear whether a private attorney would be hired by them or court appointed attorney would be ok for them as they were not present during first 20 minutes of hearing in the court.
