Paula Deen Hit With Ham

The generous feelings of Paula Deen on the auspicious occasion of thanksgiving certainly gave Chef Paula Deen a hard time. Deen was in Atlanta, Georgia participating voluntarily in a distribution of meat when suddenly her face was smacked by a flying ham. The stray ham shopper whacked her nose. A co volunteer worker who was standing right beside happened to clasp Paula and she abstained from falling. The Chef’s gorgeous laughing face returned minutes after the incident took place. In an interview after the mishap Paula stated with humor that it was the hog that had gotten her. At first she thought that her lip had been cut open but was relieved to find it normal. The young male had thrown the ham towards Paula in hope that she would be able to catch it. The best part from the whole mishap was that the chef quickly put on her stunning smile. The whole scene has been recorded on camera and different websites are broadcasting it.

Apart from cooking Deen is also an author. “The Lady & Sons Savannah Country cooking” and “The Lady & Sons Savannah Country Cooking part2″ both are self publications both filled with recipes for enticing treats. She has also appeared on the TV show QVC, also on The Oprah Winfrey Show; once in 2002 and second in 2007. In the end of the year 2005 Paula Deen began her magazine which was lifestyle based “Cooking with Paula Deen”.

Paula Deen runs her own restaurant under the name The Lady & Sons in Savannah, with her two children Jamie and Bobby. A spokesman for the Chef said that her condition had improved and was now soothing her face with ice. She was volunteering for Smithfield Foods’ Mission who are striving to provide meals to poverty stricken families this thanksgiving.
