Peoria Sports Complex Fireworks

As you know this year cities of West Valley are struggling to maintain their budgets and resulting in the cancellation of the celebration of 4th July shows of fireworks which really can save a lot of money, at least the cities like Avondale and Glendale. But this is not the case with Peoria. The show is still in plan and the Peoria city is preparing to host around 52,000 people which are waiting for the upcoming festival.

Glendale has cancelled its event which had a budget of USD $ 35,000 and this cancellation will leave a big impact on its neighbor city Peoria. Melissa Melton, Peoria Sports Complex’s marketing supervisor said that everyone is expecting a lot more and people obviously thinking about this event but I think we need to focus to control that flood of people which will come to see this fireworks.

She further said, we have many options for sitting areas like people can sit in the stands and on the fields and can enjoy the fireworks at its best from there. For the last year’s show of fireworks only 18,000 to twenty thousand people had filled the Peoria Sports Complex and they had to stay in the 83rd Avenue of Bell Road.

Melton further said but this year we have almost double facility to manage the people by allowing them to sit on the fields and in the stands and on one of fields from practice area. Definitely increased crowd will require an increase in entertainment and increase in the activities of the children, said by Melton. The show will start with a baseball game at around 5:30 pm.
