Pierce County Shooting

Pierce County is one of the most heavily populated Counties in the capital city of U.S.A. Pierce County comes under the state of Washington. Pierce County got its name from the U.S President Franklin Pierce. The county is very well known for being home to the tallest mountain in the Cascade Range, Mount Rainier volcano. The last time the volcano erupted was around 1820 and 1854. Geologists predict that it will erupt again and if it does, Pierce County will be in danger.

Talking about danger, Pierce County is still in danger with the Pierce County shooting that happened recently, on Monday. Two of the county’s sheriff’s deputies were seriously injured in the Pierce County shooting. The suspect who turned out to be the culprit was David E. Crable, who was thirty five years old, was shot and killed after he open fired towards the officials. One of the deputies was taken to Seattle’s Harborview Medical Center, where surgery was performed on him since his condition was serious. The other sergeant was shot once and his condition was stable.

It all began when the sheriffs reacted to a call made from a house near Tanwax Lake, that is miles north of Eatonville. The call was supposedly made by Crable’s brother. On reaching the house David open fired from upstairs. In the house, there was Crable’s sixteen year old daughter, who dragged the injured deputy to a room and called 911 for help. Crable’s brother also helped the 16 year old with the injured deputy. David Crable was not on good terms with his family it seems and had previously terrorized his family. Crable was also guilty of weapon charge earlier. Shooting like Pierce County shooting happen from time to time. The shooting site is now sealed to keep away media and others.
