The Election of President Obama was a turning point in US politics and history. After 8 long years of enduring the Bush regime which isolated the United States and let to loss of a bunch of allies a Democrat President and Government was more than welcomed by America.

The Obama Administration came in with very ambitious plans but had a tough task at hand. Once Democrats got majority in Congress expectations of the people got even higher. However the failure of current administration to handle the health care crisis has led the pink slips for the congress. We are not talking a few but half a million pink slips at that.

The republicans have also joined hands. Pink slips are actually a sign of job dismissal. The slips say lawmakers must oppose four things 1.government health care 2.cap and trade 3.hate crimes 4.any more spending. The Healthcare plan is much needed as it’s a serious issue for senior citizens and average class citizens. The rising healthcare costs and alarming insurance premiums are serious concerns for Republican and Democrat voters alike.

The Pink slips for congress mail in campaign has attracted great attention and once again revived the Healthcare issue. People are signing in at the website as well as sending in mail. The organizers have their hands full. The website is called sendapinkslip.com. The interesting thing is that if the Bill makes it to the floor it will be impossible to stop. They need 60 votes to proceed but actually only 51 to pass it.
