Richard Tisei

Richard Tisei, Senator of the United States has been picked as the running mate by gubernatorial hopeful Charlie Baker of the Republican Party, information extracted from his Facebook page and his campaign Website. An announcement has also been scheduled in this regards today at 11 a.m. in Wakefield at the American Civic Center. Wakefield is also the hometown of Richard R. Tisei, reported by the State House News.

Campaign manager of the Charlie Baker could not be immediately contacted to comment on this news. It has been said by the Baker on his campaign Website that he is thrilled to have Tisei in his team because Richard Tisei has been carrying plenty of experience fighting on Beacon Hill for the taxpayer. In the Republican primary, Senate minority leader and Charlie Baker will take on Christy Mihos which is a convenience store magnate. Timothy Cahill, State Treasurer and Deval Patrick incumbent Gov. will be faced by the winner in 2010 in a three-way contest.

Richard Tisei, resident of the Wakefield was elected very first time to the house when he was only 22 and made history by elected to the legislature being a youngest Republican, information collected from the campaign Website of Charlie Baker. Treasurer said that the previous offer of the Charlie Baker was rejected to run with Cahill on a ticket as lieutenant governor.
