Risky Business

Risky business is a comedy movie that was released on 5th August 1983 and originated in the United States of America. The movie runs for one hour and thirty eight minutes and the director of this movie is Paul Brickman. The producers of risky business are; Jon Avent, the Geffen Company and Steve Tisch. The plot of the movie is that Joel Goodson is a student at high school and he stays with his parents that are very wealthy. Joel’s father wants him to go to Princeton University so he joins an additional activity where students get together in teams and create little businesses.

While Joel’s parents are away for a trip his friend suggests that he has fun while his parents are away. He takes his friend’s advice and does things like dances around in his under pants, racing his dad’s Porsche and calling a prostitute. The prostitute gives him the number of another call girl because of which he gets into trouble as she steals from his home while he is away. The cast of “risky business” consist of; Tom Cruise who plays the lead role which is the character of Joel Goodson, Joe Pantoliano who plays the character of Guido.

Rebecca De Mornay plays the character of Lana, Richard Masur who plays the character of Rutherford, Curtis Armstrong plays the character of Miles, Bronson Pinchot plays the role of Barry, Nicholas Pryor plays the character of Joel’s dad; Mr. Goodson, the role of Joel’s mother is played by Janet Caroll who is Mrs. Goodson, Raphael Sbarge plays the character of Eric, Shera Danese plays the role of Vicki and Bruce A. Young plays the character of Jackie. Risky business was Paul Brickman’s first movie as a director.
