Roger Daughtry

Roger daughtry is a well renowned celebrity of Britain who has laid the foundation of the country’s most popular band “The Who”. The band is liked for its wonderful rock music every where. Roger daughtry is the soul behind “The Who” which has been entertaining people of the world in general and the British in particular for the last many years. Roger daughtry performs different artistic roles for his brain-child “The Who” like a melodious singer, creative lyricist as well as impressive performer on the stage. Besides playing leading role for the band, he has also produced his solo albums attracting similar fame like the group.

Roger daughtry was born on 1st of March 1944 in London, U.K. During his childhood, he had suffered from ulcer of stomach. Before the birth of the celebrated star, his mother was told by the doctors that she could not give birth to a child as her kidney had been removed. Roger daughtry spent his childhood in Acton and was a great lover of music. God gifted him a

melodious voice, so he started venturing the musical world. Earlier he formed a group with the name ‘The Detours’ with the help of his friends. Later on, the nomenclature was changed in 1964 when they found another band with the same name. After deliberation, the group agreed to name it as ‘The Who’. Since then, this band is rocking the music charts.

The members of the band have left and joined it, but Roger daughtry is a permanent member and leader of the band. The musical work of the band, for instance ‘My Generation”, “Won’t Get Fooled Again”, “Tommy, Who is Next” etc., has been loved by the music lovers.
