The Buried Life List

The Buried life is a new series premiered at MTV on January 18, 2010. The series is about four boys Dave, Jonnie, Ben and Duncan traveling across the country to accomplish the tasks listed in the buried life list.

Three years ago the boys got inspired by a poem “The Buried Life” written by Matthew Arnold in 1852 that say our day to day life routine often engulfs our real dreams but all of us want to pursue them. So the boys decided 100 tasks they want to do before death. Their dreams include giving away million dollars for a Cause, paying off their parents’ debts and playing ball with President Obama. The boys had made a promise to help some stranger fulfill his/her dream on their journey every time they struck an accomplished dream of their list. The buried life list journey is going on since three years and has made a huge fan following over the internet.

Our lives have become fast and sometimes we act like robots in our daily routines. So it is important to ask a question what we want to accomplish before we die. That’s the simple question that The Buried Life will pose to millions. So far the guys have helped some students by donating some computers, helped a young woman to travel to her mother’s grave and reuniting a father and a son.

So the series is going to touch the heart of millions. The Buried Life-List will induce many passive dreams and many of viewers will make their own Lists.
