Tony Terry

Tony Terry, jack swing singer of the United States was born in Pinehurst (North Carolina) on March 12, 1964. There are many R&B hits that he had against his name especially in the start of 1990s and late 1980s. He completed his graduation degree in Washington D.C from the Duke Ellington School of Arts. He started his singing career with “Sweet Sensation (pop group / R&B)” and “The Boogie Boys (a hip-hop group), being a backing vocalist.

A contract was also signed by Tony Terry in 1987 with “Epic / CBS Records”. First single song of him was also released in 1987 which was “She’s Fly”. His song remained in the top 10 singles chart of “Billboard R&B” for a long time. His debut album was “Forever Yours” which was released by Epic in 1988. His debut album also managed to remain in the Billboard’s chart of top 40 “R&B albums chart”.

Next single song of Tony Terry had managed to place its position on number four on the charts of “Billboard R&B” which was “Lovey Dovey”. Another single of him reached to the top 20 list of “Billboard R&B” which was “Forever Yours”. His second album in which his single song “With You” was also included, managed to reach into the list of top 20 maintained by “U.S. Billboard Hot 100″.

Another song of Tony Terry “Everlasting Love” managed to retain its number six position in the list of “R&B hit”. He joined “Virgin Records” after leaving the “Epic / CBS Records”. “Heart of A Man” which was released in 1994, was his first album with this company. “Changed!” was his most recent album which was released in 2006.
