Tyler Hoechlin

Tyler Hoechlin is an American actor who was also a baseball player. Not many people are familiar with his name but they are sure to recognize him once they see him. He was born in California, U.S.A and started acting at the tender age of nine. He was guided by the Young Actors Space and other workshops. He is mostly known because of Michael Sullivan Jr., a character he played in the move “Road to Perdition” along Tom Hanks. The character was of Tom Hank’s son in the movie. Subsequent to “Road to Perdition” Tyler Hoechlin got the part of Martin Brewer in the popular television series “7th Heaven”.

Tyler Hoechlin started playing baseball when he was seven years old. He now plays for the UC Irvine Anteaters. His passion for baseball is reflected by his role in “7th Heaven” and it brings out his love for baseball. Tyler Hoechlin is also said to feature on MTV show “Teen Wolf”. Talking about teens, in 2004 he was nominated for the Teen Choice Awards for the category of Breakout Male Star. Before “Road to Perdition” he was seen in movies like “Family Tree”- which marked his debut as an actor, he also featured in “Train Quest” – where he starred independently and the movie was made in Romania.

Getting the role of Michael Sullivan Jr. wasn’t a piece of cake for Tyler; in fact he had to compete with two thousand other people including his own brother to get the role. Tyler has won the Best Leading Actor Award which was presented by the Young Artists Foundation. Moreover, he has also won the celebrated Saturn Award. We hope to see more of Tyler Hoechlin in the future so that his fan base can go on increasing.
