John Franklin Candy performed the character of the Buck Russell. This character started taking care of his brother’s kids in the absence of his brother “Bob Russell”. Bob’s character was played by Garrett M. Brown.

John Candy was a well-known Canadian actor. He died on 4th of March in the year 1994. “Cool Runnings” and Planes, Trains and Automobiles were the best outputs of his efforts.

Uncle Buck was also re-created as a television sitcom series by NBC Universal Television Group in the year 1990. This thirty minutes series concluded on twenty-two episodes. Kevin Meaney acted the role of Buck Russell in this TV series.
