Yetunde Price

Yetunde Price was born on August 9, 1972 and was the elder half sister of the well known tennis players Serena Williams and Venus Williams. She was also their personal assistant. She was murdered on September 14, 2003 and she was 31 year old at the time of her death. The full name of Yetunde Price was Yetunde Hawanya Tara Price.

She was the mother of three children and the eldest daughter of her mother who had five daughters. Yetunde Price was running a beauty salon and also a registered nurse. She got popularity among the discussion of the people when she was murdered on September 14, 2003 by shooting. She was murdered in a poor part of the Compton which is an area of the Los Angeles County, California.

This area has a bad history for gang violence. Yetunde Price was riding with her boyfriend in an SUV when she was shot in the head. She immediately taken to the Long Beach Memorial Medical Center but declared as dead by the hospital authorities. “Dream” the song of “The Game” has been dedicated to the memory of Yetunde Price by the Campton rapper and it has also been stated at the end of the track.

Rober Edward Maxfied, 25 and a gang member of the Crips gang of Southside pleaded on March 22, 2006 on no contest to voluntary manslaughter before one day to his third trial in the killing. First two trials of him were ended in a hung and mistrial jury.
